Happy Memorial Day!

Hugh takes a moment out to think about the reason for this holiday. Thank you to all of our veterans and soldiers who continue to fight for our country.

Well Hugh can, he helped put in a few new plants in the new berm area in the backyard.

Farmer Hugh

Hugh pitches in to start our vegetable garden then poses when everything is done. We put in Romaine lettuce, Roma tomato's, peppers, onions, salsa peppers, green beans, pumpkins and cucumbers.

We went to the Farmer's Market to check out the plants and vegetables. Bought some cool plants that I planted around the yard.

truck full of dirt arrived today. we ordered 7 yards of dirt to fill in some low spots in the yard and create our garden this weekend.

Hugh and I take our second walk of the day, it was a hot day so this one was at dusk.

The Orange Pop Incident

What is an Orange Pop Incident Hugh ask? It is the kind of the occurrence that renders your phone useless. Well my old phone has been going on the fritz lately, but it wasn't until last night that when I dropped it into my glass of orange pop that the real trouble started, my phone was doing things on its own like calling my brother all morning. In order to prevent this i had to leave the phone open the whole time. So needless to say an upgrade was in order. Hugh is holding up my new LG Chocolate Touch. Ugh, now we have to learn a new phone.

Cathy Iannuzzi. We sorted photos and created photo boards for a friend today who lost her battle with Lung Cancer this weekend. R.I.P.

Race for the cure!

Hugh joined us {Sue, Tina, Peggy, Wendy, Melody, Rita, Janet and myself} for the Breast Cancer walk in downtown Detroit this morning.

91 Years Young

We all celebrated Grandpa Speshoch's 91st birthday this weekend with a party over at George and Ann's house. Good times, good times.

Even Paws is a fan of Hugh. Unfortunately the Tigers lost this game but we had a great time anyway.

Hugh made friends with this friendly dragon in downtown Royal Oak where we attended a photo group Mystery Meet.

General Alarm

Hugh and I went to the scene of a general alarm fire call, turned out to be mostly smoke, but we liked the view looking down the street at all of the emergency vehicles.

Bike Ride

Hugh and I take a bike ride, what a beautiful day, the sky couldn't be any bluer!

Hugh joined crystal and I on a Western Michigan University tour where Crystal will be going this fall.
