Hugh and i went to check out the sights at the park in New Baltimore and it was beautiful out there today. We took a short break to look out over the bay.

Stunt Double!

Hugh gets acquainted with his stunt double. Meme & Rich sent him up from Tennessee in the event that we have another mishap and lose him. The funny thing is Hugh looks like he must have gotten a tan sitting on the tractor when he spent the afternoon there.

Man's Best Friend

Hugh and I ran up to Partridge Creek to hit Bath & Body Works and look for a good photo opportunity. The mall is dog friendly and there were a lot of dogs there, so I thought about having Hugh pose with one until I considered that Hugh might end up a chew toy for one of the frisky pups.

Hugh at the Zoo!

Hugh and I volunteered our time today at the Detroit Zoo. We were there along with my cousin Ronnie and his SIL Suzy to prepare a garden for planting.

Of course no trip to the Zoo is complete without a photo in front of the fountain.

Had a shoot at the Fire Station today so Hugh came along for the ride. Hey who doesn't love a Fire Truck!

Sunday Night Stress Relief

Hugh and I spent some time looking at some cool decorating blogs! One of our favorites is "Better After" where people submit "before and after" photos of their decorating projects.

Hugh admires Frank's rack of ribs! As soon as the nice weather hits Frank & Gerilynn have us over for some of their famous BBQ ribs. Mmmmmmmmmmmm, delicious.

Laundry Day

With our dryer broken, Hugh kept an eye on the dryer at the laundery mat while I ran a few errands.

The storms continued throughout the day and with it came hail the size of marbles. They bounced up a foot when they hit the ground.

On Scene

Hugh came out on his first fire scene last night. Because of his condition, you know being wood and all he decided to keep a vigil in the car.

Easter Dinner

For Easter we went to have dinner at Gunner's house, knowing Hugh's affinity for tractor's Gunner let him pose on his recently restored International.

We had an opportunity to get together with a bunch of my husbands cousins and their kids and of course Hugh was a big hit. {Thanks for the lift Rachel}

Hugh had a chance to show off his fancy footwork at a Bowling Fundraiser for my niece's Cheer Team.

April Fool's

Even Hugh couldn't have dreamed up an April Fool's day like today. Three of our three cars were not running. My truck was in need of a repair which Cliff, Frank & Hugh worked on. But before the project even started Cliff's car broke down at the corner and is still sitting in the parking lot. Then about half way through the above repair Arielle called to say her car was broke down in the parking lot at school.

Add to this the fact that our dryer broke 3 days ago and I have had to line dry our clothes, the top rack on our dishwasher is hanging by a thread and when Crystal cleaned up after dinner and flicked the garbage disposal it did not work. Luckily I was able to get that working.
